Thanks for the comments and the hype-up for Phantom. We all appreciate it. I do want to take a moment to say that all of the people here contribute to the overall Phantom experience. I tend to be the most outgoing (or loud or annoying, depending on your point of view), but the store would fall apart without Jim taking care of the day-to-day running of the store itself, Dave doing the behind the scenes business stuff, Scott tirelessly being the weekend staff for years and Anna-Lena taking point on a lot of our special projects and events. And, there is simply no better boss in the world than Jeff. We’re a good team and it’s nice to know our efforts are appreciated.

yeah, Eides has issues. but Phantom is the real deal. better than just about every other comic shop out there, not just in Pittsburgh, but everywhere. oh, and, BTW, Phantom isn’t run by Wayne — the proprietor is Jeff Yandora.

I too share your cirticisims of Eides. While I like thier selection of music (most of the time) and location I also hate thier prices (they totally suck) and all the staff there are distant and un-friendly………to dudes and ladies alike. It’s as if they don’t want you taking thier stuff. Dorks…….

Oh, Phantom, you are the best comic store ever! And you don’t have to be a gal to have the Eide’s folks sneer at you. I never understood how that place got so much hype. Phatom, OTOH, is aces. And how could anyone not love Wayne?
