The Next Michael Cera

Gab Bonesso Prediction #1 for 2010:
Nolan Gould (the ten year old actor who plays Luke Dunphy on ABC’s Modern Family) has the potential to be the next Michael Cera. Whether you think that is a good or bad thing is entirely up to you.
Nolan Gould has awesome comedic chops for a ten year old kid. His ability to play the eccentric innocent is remarkable. In the classic “Coal Digger” episode, Luke (Nolan) and Manny (Rico Rodriguez) get into an argument because Luke says that Manny’s mother: Gloria used to be a “coal digger” because Luke misheard his mother calling Gloria a “gold digger”. Classic. The episode when Phil (Ty Burrell) is stricken with kidney stones and is trying to tell Luke some last words in case the surgery goes awry and Luke freaks out which makes Phil say, “Hey. When have you ever seen your old man scared?” to which Luke replies, “that time you walked through the spider web. The time we were playing with the Ouiji board and the wind blew the door shut…” and then Phil cuts him off. Also, classic.
If this kid stays on the quirky path he might even surpass Cera. I say, “Nolan Gould – Get thee to Wes Anderson immediately!”.
He could play Spencer Reid’s little brother on Criminal Minds. I mean, if Spencer Reid had a little brother on Criminal Minds. He doesn’t have one, umm, because his mom is a scizophrenic and only went off of her meds to have Spencer. Poor son of a bitch. “Excuse me for moment, won’t you? That’s better. You caught me with one foot off of the merry-go-round.”
What?
Anyway, to learn more about Nolan Gould then read the actor bio that I swiped from ABC.com below:
ACTOR BIO:
Ten year-old Nolan Gould began his career at the tender age of three doing commercials and totally fell in love with acting. He has worked consistently since the day he first stepped on that commercial set. His most recent films include leads in the features Space Buddies and Montana. Current television credits include Eleventh Hour and the movie of the week, Sweet Nothing in My Ear.
Nolan is a well-balanced young actor who believes hard work pays off. He has trained with Patrick Malone and Lisa Picotte for years, focusing on scene study, cold reading and improv. He especially enjoys improv, and keeps his skills honed by performing in a weekly live improv show. All his effort and training have culminated in a well-rounded, confident young actor who loves to tell stories and entertain.
Nolan has an extensive vintage Hot Wheels collection, loves his LEGO bricks and enjoys swimming and sports. He is an active Mensa member and loves to read and learn.

Ma hates your new font thing. And you know how your nephew L’il Antony hates when you brag about other child actors. You never blog about the time he played child victim #3 in that pilot for CSI:Boise. He was so crushed that it didn’t get picked up he wouldn’t even eat his favorite dinner of fried spaghetti and Mancini bread!
Whaddya think about Rosie’s hair lately? I think she looks like a whore…
I don’t know why you both just can’t go get it done at Aunt Carmella’s like me? Think you’re so much better than me cuz you don’t have kids and you went to college. Assholes.
Can you pick up Giovanna from daycare?
Angel -
As we’ve discussed earlier, I will never pick Giovanna up from daycare again. She calls me, “Aunt Flabby” and continuously tries to hurt Phineas.
Although, I must admit… Rose is looking more and more like a whore.
In other news, I am working on a blog about L’il Antony entitled: The Next Brad Renfro. Look for it to hit “the internets” in 2012!
Your sister,
